Ever wonder how some people seem to be organised, more productive and appear to be in control of their workd days? A few tips on how to become more efficient, productive and in control of your time.

1. Pre-work preparation is key. An evening "to do" list set you up for the following day, removes bees in the hed, and allows for control, efficiency, and deep rest during the night. Sleep at it's best ensures you are refreshed, alert and on top of your game.

3. Wake up with the sun, and do not "lie in for an extra 10 - 15 minutes. This ensures that you start the day with intention and focus.

4. Gym, Yoga, Pilates, Run. Try to make this part of your morning routine, it get is out of the way, ensure you do it, and sets your mood for the day. .

5. They practice a morning ritual.This could be meditation, journaling, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee. A consistent ritual helps you center themselves before the day gets busy.

6. They eat breakfast. Fueling up with a healthy meal gives them the energy they need to stay productive throughout the morning.

7. They arrive at the office on time. Punctuality sets a positive tone for the day and shows respect for colleagues and commitments.

8. They check in with their boss and/or employees. A quick touch-base ensures everyone is aligned and any urgent issues are addressed early.

9. They tackle the big projects first. Productive people use their peak morning energy to work on high-priority tasks, leaving smaller items for later.

10. They avoid morning meetings.They protect their most productive hours by scheduling meetings for later in the day whenever possible.

11. They allocate time for following up on messages. Rather than constantly checking emails or messages, they set aside specific times to respond, keeping distractions at bay. Stop start costs time and is sure to distract you.

12. They take a mid-morning break.Stepping away from work for a few minutes helps them recharge and maintain focus for the rest of the day. Take a walk, stretch and get some fresh air.
